چکیده

A number of properties of spherical Artin groups extend to Garside groups, defined as the groups of fractions of monoids where least common multiples exist, there is no nontrivial unit, and some additional finiteness conditions are satisfied [9]. Here we investigate a wider class of groups of fractions, called thin, which are those associated with monoids where minimal common multiples exist, but they are not necessarily unique. Also, we allow units in the involved monoids. The main results are that all thin groups of fractions satisfy a quadratic isoperimetric inequality, and that, under some additional hypotheses, they admit an automatic structure.

Effect of Chromatographic Fractions of Ethanolic Extract of Crotalaria Juncea (L.) Seeds on Ovarian Follicular Kinetics and Estrous Cycle in Albino Rats

Inspite of considerable development in contraceptive technology, search for female antifertility agent in plants continues to be a potential area of investigation. The ethanol extract of Crotalaria juncea seeds which showed promising antiovulatory activity in female albino rats was examined for the isolation of its active fractions. Two fractions were obtained using Thin Layer Chromatography ...

Andiroba oil: a strategic approach to detect antioxidant activity in different lipid groups by TLC

The search for natural sources of molecules that exhibit biological activity has intensified in the last 20 years. The andiroba (Carapa guianensis) oil is known for its medicinal actions [1], and biological activities, among them the antioxidant action [2]. The use of traditional techniques for the determination of antioxidant activity in vegetable oils faces strong competition from modern tech...

New Usage of a Fluorometric Method to Assay Antioxidant Activity in Plant Extracts

In the present study, an oxidative conversion of non-fluorescent dichlorofluoroscein (LDCF) to fluorescent dichlorofluoroscein (DCF) was used for detection of antioxidant properties of plant extracts. The rate of the reaction was followed by monitoring the formation of DCF as a function of time. The antioxidant assay was carried out for different concentrations of gallic acid, Salvia ...

Determination of Saturates, Aromatics, Resins and Asphaltenes (SARA) Fractions in Iran Crude oil Sample with Chromatography Methods: Study of the Geochemical Parameters

In this study, Iran crude oil samples (K, L) were separated on the basis of solubility and polarity, resulting in saturates, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes fractions. The fractions were analyzed by traditional open column chromatography, thin layer chromatography-Flame ionization detector in an Itroscan instrument (TLC-FID) and Gas chromatography with flame ionization detection for the dete...

Optical properties of silicon nano layers by using Kramers- Kronig method

Silicon thin layers are deposited on glass substrates with the thickness of 103 nm, 147 nm and 197 nm. The layers are produced with electron gun evaporation method under ultra-high vacuum condition. The optical Reectance and the Transmittance of produced layers were measured by using spectrophotometer. The optical functions such as, real and imaginary part of refractive index, real and imaginar...
